No. They. Can’t.

June 30th, 2008 · 6 Comments

That is my proposed campaign slogan for the GOP this year. And why not? All they seem to do is peddle the same fear-mongering message. And trying to allege that a candidate who happens to have the name Barack Hussein Obama, somehow finds inspiration from the President of Iran, is totally original, [...]

Don’t Even Toss Lieberman a Life-Preserver

June 30th, 2008 · 2 Comments

It’s time for Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy and Senator Clinton to come out publicly and openly denounce Joe Lieberman’s constant attempts to undermine the Democrats by pimping for Bush and McCain. Lieberman obviously has a right to believe or support anything he wants, but he doesn’t have a right to key spots and chairmanships [...]

War on a Third Front?

June 29th, 2008 · 1 Comment

There are multiple new stories circulating today about Iran, and all of us should give us pause. Iran has indicated that it may be willing to play it’s trump card if the U.S. initiates any military action against the country:

Glen Greenwald is Right. Again.

June 27th, 2008 · 2 Comments

June 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment

John McCain took credit today for helping to push through Jim Webb’s version of an expanded GI Bill with enhanced educational benefits. The only problem is, he actually opposed the bill and when it came before the Senate yesterday, he skipped the vote. Bush opposed it too.
Make sense? Well, it shouldn’t. [...]

Gay Republican Meet with McCain in ‘Secret’

June 26th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I understand a lot of things, but gay republicans is not one of them- I understand that a gay person may be “conservative” on issues but having to have a ’secret’ meeting with the head of your own party is pretty bad:

A source with close ties to the Log Cabin Board of Directors provided information [...]

This Just In…

June 25th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Earth-shattering news. John McCain has just announced that our nation’s dependence on foreign oil is dangerous.
Wow.
The next thing you know he’ll be telling us smoking may pose a danger to our health.

Obama May Learn the Hard Way

June 25th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Obama better not make the same mistake Gore did- telling those of us who support Hillary or members of the progressive base, that our opinions don’t really matter in his ‘grand strategy’ is arrogant and stupid.
