Hey, it’s not all bad- Exxon has just posted record profits despite the economic downturn.

Come on. The oil prices spiked last year. they were up to almost $!%) a barrel for much of the year. That gave them a big profit. This next year, with prices in the $30 per barrel, their profit will be MUCH lower.

Not to worry though. I am going to buy oil share now. The stocks are low, but with the Dems refusing to permit any new driling, the prices will undoubtedly climb to new record highs in another year or two.

Here is something entertaining. Obama is trying to protect his “brand”. Looks like the MLK family protecting their “brand”.

‘Course, the MLK family had to hire their own lawyers, and did not have access to the White House and the force of government to “crack down” on small business and entrepreneurs. The people they want to stop are street vendors and t-shirt factories.

Not quite Exxon (which, by the way, are not going to get hit with “windfall profits tax” that Obama promised. I wonder why?).
